Through Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone's innovation in talent introduction, cultivation, retention and usage significant increase has been achieved in talents' total number, structure, quality, and contribution rate. At present, there are 65,000 talents of various types in the zone, including 33 academicians, 728 doctors, and 3,543 high-level talents.
The zone strives to find ways to enhance talent attraction, such as policies like "Precision Training Program for Talents in Big Data", use of platforms such as the Big Data Expo and Talent Expo and channels such as Zhongguancun and Huaxi University City. It tries to match and cultivate entrepreneurial talents, according to demands. The zone also carries out training for public officials, employees, students, and social workers, cultivates big data talents through training institutions such as NIIT and APTECH, strengthens services for talents, and serves as a brand-oriented, professional and differentiated provincial-level human resources industrial park to provide a better talent environment.
