Hub drive motor and control technology for new energy vehicles

The project focuses on the design of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous hub motors for electric vehicles, and conducts research on motor reactance calculation, loss calculation and optimization, motor rotor topology design, and rub motor cooling technology. (1) Calculation of motor reactance. The hub motor of this project adopts a double stator structure, making the reactance calculation more complicated. Therefore the magnetic field distribution characteristics of axial flux motor under different magnetic circuit structures and different winding forms are being studied. Next, the parametric analysis method for the traditional radial flux motor is used to study the reactance parameters of different topologies and establish a mathematical model for calculating the reactance of an axial flux motor. (2) Loss calculation and efficiency optimization. Based on the rapid design method for electromagnetic-temperature coupling, the motor efficiency and winding temperature are optimized. The genetic algorithm is used to calculate the loss of the whole working condition, and suppression measures are proposed. (3) Motor rotor topology design. On the basis of the comprehensive consideration of mechanical structures and motor performance, the rotor topology is studied, and the arrangement and shape of permanent magnets are optimized to improve the operating efficiency of the motor and reduce the torque ripple. (4) Hub motor cooling technology. According to the wheel-side installation of the axial flux motor, the multi-channel forced cooling structure based on the end cover is designed by considering the distribution law of loss of the motor.
