Overview

Established in 1992 with the approval of the State Council, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) is the first national-level high-tech industrial zone in Southwest China's Guizhou province. It also ranks as a big data industry development cluster in Guizhou and a talent hub of the province. The zone has an officially approved area of 5.33 square kilometers, but there are 31.54 sq km within its general jurisdiction.A development model comprising one zone and four industrial parks, including the Jinyang, Shawen, Xiuwen and Wudang industrial parks, has already taken shape there.
