A conference on big data, artificial intelligence, Huawei's Kunpeng cloud platform, blockchain and other technologies was held at Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- Guiyang HIDZ officials said on July 31.
The event, called the DevRun software developers' salon, was held by the Huawei software development cloud platform, which is based in the Guiyang HIDZ.
Several senior technical experts from Huawei cloud platform were invited to share and communicate with entrepreneurs about big data, AI, Huawei’s cloud services, blockchain and other tech fields.
The aim was to establish a platform for Guiyang software developers to hook up with technical experts with Huawei, so as to help Guiyang business developers reduce development costs and simplify software development work.
According to Guiyang HIDZ officials, since it settled in the zone in May 2018, Huawei software development cloud platform has provided cloud services to 283 local enterprises and five universities in total.
They said that on average, it has solved more than 150 technical problems. It has been involved in server application deployments, server security configurations, intelligent computing and network security, among other things.
In addition, more than 30 events -- including technology sharing fairs, tech conferences and commercial matchmaking services have been held. Officials said more than 1,900 enterprises and more than 5,450 people participated in related activities.
