Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- is on the move to help graduates' employment.
The zone held recruitment fairs at Guizhou University and Guizhou University of Finance and Economics on Nov 19, organizing the participation of high-tech firms.
The aim was to build a two-way selection platform between employers and students, fully meet the diverse job needs of students, while broadening the channels for Guiyang HIDZ enterprises to hire employees.
A total of 74 companies participated in the fairs, offering more than 770 job categories and needing a total of 1,710 employees.
There were 2,396 interviews conducted on-site and 842 students received preliminary job offers, while 71 students were employed on the spot.
Since 2015, the zone has held 13 campus recruitment fairs at the two universities, leading to the employment of over 1,200 people by Guiyang HIDZ enterprises.
Moving forward, the zone will continue to strengthen cooperation with colleges and universities and businesses to carry out more campus recruitment.
It would also develop online recruitment, social recruitment and other employment introduction platforms.
