Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – signed agreements with four companies in South China's Guangdong province, during an investment roadshow held in the southern city of Shenzhen on April 26.
The companies are engaged in areas such as advanced equipment manufacturing, big data electronic information, health and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), as well as processing of agricultural and special products. The total investment is estimated at more than 3.6 billion yuan ($561 million).
The conference aimed to expand commercial ties between Guiyang HIDZ and the Guangdong High-Tech Industry Chamber. It also aimed to attract companies and projects in such areas as big data electronic information, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, the headquarters economy, industrial real estate, park operations and the modern service industries.
Under the agreements, Eternal Asia will build its regional headquarters for Southwest China in Guiyang HIDZ, as well as a technology industrial park. It will also establish a procurement platform, a new marketing base, a brand incubation base and a cloud logistics center.
Meanwhile, Shenzhen Donghui Precision Mechanical & Electrical Co Ltd will launch an aviation precision parts manufacturing project in the zone. The Sanniuben (Shenzhen) Holdings Group will set up the national headquarters for a big data platform for TCM and health care, while Guangzhou Qianru Electronics Co Ltd will build a new type of electronics components manufacturing plant in the zone.
In addition, Guiyang HIDZ signed a cooperation agreement with the Guangdong High-Tech Industry Chamber, to establish a long-term partnership in the high-tech industry supply chain and for supply chain planning and designs.
