Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a promotion meeting for its innovation and entrepreneurship base on May 27.
It was one of many activities during the 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo, held on May 26-28 in Guiyang.
Entrepreneurs shared their successful experiences during the meeting. Also, the incubation of three companies was announced, and three high-level firms were introduced.
The innovation and entrepreneurship base was established in 2017 and has promoted the upgrading of small, medium and micro-enterprises. It has achieved remarkable results in gathering innovation resources, stimulating innovation vitality, enhancing innovation capabilities and promoting industrial development.
The base is accelerating the cultivation of innovative enterprises and striving to become a national demonstration base featuring big data.
Gao Sheng, deputy director of the management committee of Guiyang HIDZ, said at the meeting that the zone has pushed the development of big data and electronic information, advanced equipment and new energy industries.
It is currently home to more than 600 R&D institutions and innovation service institutions and 65,000 professional personnel.
With five talent towns, the zone is continuously optimizing its business environment, and it welcomes more investors, entrepreneurs and talents, according to the official.
