The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) signed a project worth 800 million yuan ($120.03 million) at the 2021 China Industrial Park Conference (CIPC), which was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 29-30.
The project, involving an intelligent connected vehicle industrial park, was signed between the Guiyang HIDZ and Shenzhen Chassis Intelligent Technology Co.
According to the agreement, the two sides will form an industrial chain of intelligent connected vehicles, jointly build an intelligent connected vehicle industrial park, and carry out research and development on and find applications for unmanned driving and internet of things technology.
They will also produce intelligent chasses for unmanned vehicles and related intelligent components.
As an innovation demonstration zone of Guiyang city and Guizhou province, the Guiyang HIDZ has introduced projects and enterprises focusing on major industries such as big data electronic information, advanced manufacturing, and new energy vehicles.
Among the highlights are Guangdong Highsun Group Co, Shenzhen Donghui Precision Mechanical and Electrical Co, the Wuxi Yinbang Special Equipment Manufacturing Base, and a project invested by Jiangsu Xifo Optoelectronics Technology Co that can produce 5,000 pieces of touch display capacitive screen glass every day.
These projects and enterprises have helped the Guiyang HIDZ improve the scale, quality, and profits of its industrial economy.
