Four enterprise technology centers from Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently made them onto the 2021 list of Guiyang municipal enterprise technology centers.
The list was revealed by Guiyang Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and includes a total of 26 such centers, with the number from Guiyang HIDZ accounting for 15.39 percent of those in Guiyang city.
The enterprise technology centers from Guiyang HIDZ include Guizhou Xuande Biological Technology Co, Guizhou Chuangxin Light Metal Process Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center Co, Guizhou Kaixiang New Materials Co, and Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co.
The centers are involved in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine and new materials, and are known for their strong records in industrial technology research and development, intellectual property creation, and industry-university-research collaborative innovation.
The enterprise technology center is a technology research and innovation organization established by a company according to the needs of market competition.
It is responsible for formulating enterprise technology innovation plans, carrying out industrial technology research and development, creating and using intellectual property rights, establishing technical standards systems, gathering and training innovative individuals, building collaborative innovation networks, and advancing the implementation of the whole process of technological innovation.
