Six business incubators from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- will reportedly be granted 660,000 yuan ($99,025) in subsidies in total by municipal authorities.
The subsidy winners are the Guiyang Software Park, the Wuchuangjie Business Incubator, the Guiyang Technology Business Incubator affiliated to ZBJ.COM, the G27 Big Data Business Incubator, the Guiyang HIDZ E-sports Show operated by the Digital Culture and Creative Museum and the China-Australia Business Incubator.
The subsidies are being offered by the Guiyang Bureau of Science and Technology and the Guiyang Finance Bureau.
The aim is to reward business incubators rated at the A and B levels at the Guiyang municipal level, as well as outstanding business incubators rated at the Guizhou provincial level.
Moving forward, plans are for the Guiyang HIDZ to strengthen its management and guidance of business incubators under its jurisdiction, in order to further improve their business incubation capabilities.
