A company from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone – also known as the Guiyang HIDZ, based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently made it onto the list of the Top 100 Chinese Internet Companies in Comprehensive Strength Index.
The list was announced during an online news conference held by the Internet of Society on Nov 26.
The "Top 100 Chinese Internet Companies in Comprehensive Strength Index" was originally the "Top 100 Internet Companies in China" and it has been released for nine consecutive years since 2013.
The survey identifies 10 core indicators – representing six dimensions in terms of a company's size, its profitability, innovation ability, growth, risk prevention and control capabilities and social responsibilities, among other things.
The indicators in the survey were weighted, based on industry development trends and expert opinions.
Guiyang HIDZ-based Guiyang Langma Communication Technology Co from Guiyang HIDZ made it onto the list, reportedly due to its performance in the fields of the internet, big data and 5G.
It is the fifth time the company has made it into the list, ranking it 58th nationwide.
As one of the earliest scientific and technological companies involved in the big data industry in Guizhou, the company is reportedly committed to the development of technologies such as the internet, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
It has independently completed product research and development in such fields as internet social networking, mobile communications and cloud computing.
Currently, the company has completed its business expansion program in the fields of medical information services, smart portable health testing equipment, 5G technology applications and drug distribution – effectively enhancing its comprehensive performance in the "internet + medical" field.
The number of registered users of its online 39 Internet Hospital is said to exceed 1 million visitors and the number of business consultations is projected at about 3 million.
The online hospital also signed contracts with over 1,300 municipal and county-level hospitals and over 2,000 experts.
In November 2020, the company reportedly took the lead in launching a program called "Internet Hospital Service Specifications", effectively promoting the standardization of the telemedicine industry.
