Six people from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – reportedly made it onto the list recently of the 2021 Guizhou Provincial Digital Economy Key Talent Plan.
The number of people from the Guiyang HIDZ on the list is understood to account for 35 percent of the total number selected.
The result was recently announced by the Guizhou Provincial Big Data Development Administration.
Those chosen from the Guiyang HIDZ include Huang Mingfeng, deputy general manager of Guizhou Cloud Big Data Industry Development Co; Yang Lingyun, chairman of Guizhou CASIC Cloud Network Technology Co and Liu Zhengbo, chairman of Guizhou CASIC Agriculture Co.
They also include Du Heng, CEO of Guiyang Golden Stand Financial Technology Co; Huang Yong, chairman and general manager of Guizhou Tuzhi Information Technology Co and Shen Zhiyong, Guizhou Zhicheng Technology Co's general manager.
Of those recognized, Huang Mingfeng won the "May 1 Labor Medal" of Guizhou province. Huang is the overall technical leader in the construction of the Guiyang provincial government information system and the Guizhou Health Code.
He has reportedly led his company to become a leading enterprise in the development of big data in Guizhou – attracting over 10,000 new people from inside and outside the province to participate in the build-out of a big data system in Guizhou province.
