In the first eight months of this year, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, saw 11.81 billion yuan ($1.77 billion) in projects in place, which is 71.56 percent of Guiyang's annual target for the zone.
A total of 7.86 billion yuan in place was for industrial projects, accounting for 76.29 percent of Guiyang HIDZ's annual target.
Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang HIDZ has attached great importance to business promotion in such key fields as electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, the new energy automobile industry, and software and the information technology service industry.
Moving forward, Guiyang HIDZ will continue to improve its business environment and provide better services for enterprises, according to a person in charge of the zone's commerce bureau.
