An enterprise in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently passed the authorized economic operator (AEO) advanced certification audit.
Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co is the first company in Guizhou province to receive AEO advanced certification since the official implementation of the "People's Republic of China Customs Registration and Recording Enterprise Credit Management Measures" and the supporting "Advanced Certification Enterprise Standard" in November 2021.
The Guiyang HIDZ enterprise is also the fourth enterprise in Guizhou province to obtain an AEO advanced certification.
Customs AEO advanced certification is the credit rating of international trade enterprises with the highest authority and is recognized by customs in all countries.
Certified enterprises are eligible for a series of customs clearance benefits.
They include reduction of the average inspection rate of import and export goods, the priority of handling customs clearance procedures for import and export goods, and the amount of guarantee collected by customs can be lower than the total amount of tax that it may bear or the amount stipulated by the General Administration of Customs.
They can also apply to customs for exemption from guarantees, reduce the frequency of enterprise inspections, and declare to customs before the export goods arrive in the customs supervision area, as well as other management measures prescribed by the General Administration of Customs.
