With the Spring Festival almost upon us, a cultural event targeting workers in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was held on Jan 13.

The event aimed to promote and showcase the charm of traditional Chinese culture through activities such as writing Spring Festival couplets and participating in lantern riddles.
A total of 300 gifts and more than 100 pairs of Spring Festival couplets were given to participants that day.
