PIX Moving wins first prize in 'Maker in China' competition

Guizhou PIX Moving Technology Co, or PIX Moving, recently won first prize in the finals of the sixth "Maker in China" Artificial Intelligence Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition on Feb 22.

PIX Moving is a resident enterprise of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

PIX Moving is the only enterprise from Guizhou province to have entered the finals of this year's competition.

The competition was jointly sponsored by the Network Security Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, and the management committee of Ganjiang New Area in East China's Jiangxi province.

The competition set up two categories, the "AI Application Challenge" and the "AI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest".

Of the two, the "AI Application Challenge" was designed for enterprises, with emphasis on "AI + industry", "AI + automobile" and "AI + people's livelihood" work models.

The "AI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest" was designed for makers. A panel judged innovation and entrepreneurship projects such as inventions and creations, product technologies, and creative applications that use artificial intelligence as their main technological innovation point.

Yang Shunkai, marketing director of PIX Moving, said that the company participated in the "AI + Automobile" competition. With its self-developed self-driving products and innovative technologies, it finally won first prize after several months of evaluations.

The company's shared autonomous driving vehicle - Robobus, personal vehicle - NEV, and urban service robot - CityBot , as well as its innovative technologies, AAM (Automotive Algorithm Model) and RTM (Real-time Forming model), all showed PIX Moving's strength in developing the third generation of automobiles.

It is understood that the AAM platform system is a full-cycle, cross-professional online collaborative design and R&D platform. It was developed by the company for smart cars and robotic products.

RTM is a new industrial software system, which will make the first-piece production cycle 1600 times faster than traditional stamping, and iteration cycles will be 4 times faster than current methods. It also lowers the equipment investment costs, and mold costs by 100 and 200 times. 

The combination of AAM and RTM can realize the seamless connection from the start of the design phase to the end of the manufacturing phase, which not only meets individual needs, but also meets the needs of batch manufacturing. By using this technology, product production efficiency can be increased by more than 70 percent.

At present, the products developed by PIX Moving have entered more than 20 countries around the world.
