A delegation from Tsinghua University paid a visit to Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 10-11.
Over this two-day period, around 20 masters and doctoral students from Tsinghua University paid on-site visits to local enterprises and learn about Guizhou's talent policies.
On March 11, the delegates attended a special talent conference that targeted at students from Tsinghua University. The conference was held in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ).
At the conference, leading companies from the military, transportation, electric power, big data and other industries gave detailed introductions to the attendees. The company representatives spoke of their enterprise's development history, personnel structure, core competitiveness, future planning, and recruitment positions.

Relevant provincial and municipal human resources departments were also present to interpret a series of talent policies to the participants, including talent introduction channels, talent subsidies, and housing purchase guarantees.
Students from Tsinghua University also had the opportunity to interview with representatives from various enterprises. They had in-depth exchanges to discuss professional counterparts, working environments, work hours, and industrial layouts.
