Guizhou CASICloud-tech Co; Ltd, a resident enterprise of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has helped traditional industries transform into intelligent manufacturing enterprises.
The company registered in Guiyang HIDZ in 2015. By 2022, the company's operating income reached 320 million yuan ($46.04 million), and its cumulative operating income during the 2015-2022 period hit 1.4 billion yuan.
Yang Lingyun, chairman of the company, explained that "the company's leapfrog growth has benefited from the transformation and upgrading of enterprises in various industries, which were driven by data."
When Yang first arrived in Guizhou, most enterprises still relied on traditional production and operation methods and were relatively unfamiliar with the industrial internet.
With the acceleration of the integration of big data and the real economy in Guizhou, his company had a "useful place", Yang added.
Relying on the Guizhou IND Cloud platform App, which was developed by Guizhou CASICloud-tech Co; Ltd, factory managers could check their equipment maintenance and repair status, the data of each machine, and monitor a certain area of the factory in real time on their mobile phones.
At present, more than 180,000 enterprises have registered the platform.
Guizhou CASICloud-tech Co; Ltd has created hundreds of pilot demonstration projects in the pillar fields of electronic information, equipment manufacturing, automotive equipment, national pharmaceuticals and chemical energy.
Among them is the pilot demonstration project jointly built by the company, Kailin Group, and Zhenhua Group. This project was selected as the 2018 industrial internet pilot demonstration project by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
More than 10 enterprise projects involving the company were successively selected as pilot demonstration projects for the new model application of intelligent manufacturing, or were selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as pilot demonstration projects for intelligent manufacturing.
