The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently introduced the regional headquarters of Guizhou Guochan Energy Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the State Power Corporation.
Established in 1996, the State Power Corporation is an enterprise mainly engaged in the production and supply of electricity and heat.
The Guiyang regional headquarters will invest 2 billion yuan into the construction of energy projects in Guizhou.
When the project is put into operation, it is expected to have an annual output value of no less than 500 million yuan.
It is reported that Guizhou Guochan Energy Co's regional headquarters is the third regional headquarters project with the backing of a central government-owned enterprise to have been introduced by Guiyang HIDZ. It follows the introduction of the Guizhou regional headquarters of CNNP Rich Energy Co, and PowerChina Renewable Energy Co.
