Enterprises from the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have delivered good results in their endeavors to go global.
At present, Guiyang HIDZ has a total of 43 foreign trade companies.
In 2022, the annual growth rate of imports and exports in Guiyang HIDZ came in at 41.6 percent, exceeding the annual growth target set by Guiyang city for the zone by 2.12 percentage points.
Last year, 15 enterprises from Guiyang HIDZ stepped into the international market for the first time and conducted trade with countries such as the United States, South Korea, and Germany.

Take Guiyang HIDZ-based Guizhou Zerophos Chemical Co (Zerophos) as an example of improved foreign trade performance.
As a small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprise that specializes in phosphorus chemical processing, technology development and marketing services, Zerophos saw a year-on-year foreign trade increase of 200 percent last year.
Since it settled in Guiyang HIDZ in 2012, Zerophos' products have been exported to more than 40 countries including India, Pakistan and Australia.
Guizhou PIX Moving Technology Co (PIX Moving) is another Guiyang HIDZ enterprise that showed a great foreign trade performance.
It has realized the high-quality and efficient design and production of unmanned minibuses and chassis.
Since the beginning of this year, PIX Moving has received orders worth more than 200 million yuan ($28.78 million), with foreign trade orders making up 50 percent of that amount.
Moving forward, Guiyang HIDZ will help local enterprises to go global and expand in international markets. It will accelerate the RECP industrial park construction, AEO (Authorized Operator) certification declarations, and continue to organize enterprises' participation in overseas exhibitions.
