The intellectual property (IP) rights expert library of Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was officially established during this year's Intellectual Property Rights Protection Week, which took place on April 20-26.
A total of 18 experts were included in Guiyang HIDZ's IP rights library. They come from universities, scientific research institutes, enterprises, law firms, and IP professional institutions in Guizhou province.
Some are experts in such fields as mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, quantum information, Chinese pharmacy, new optoelectronic materials and internet of things technology, and others are senior legal experts and management experts in the field of intellectual property.
They will fully support the Guiyang HIDZ workstation of the Guizhou Provincial Intellectual Property Rights Protection and Assistance Center in carrying out IP rights protection and assistance and provide IP-related consulting services, risk investigation, infringement research and judgment, and rights protection guidelines for enterprises and institutions in the zone in a timely manner.
According to Zhang Tingquan, an official from the Guiyang HIDZ branch of the Guiyang market administration and regulation bureau, experts in the IP expert library of Guiyang HIDZ were recommended by the Guizhou Provincial Intellectual Property Rights Protection and Assistance Center and are in line with the zone's industrial development layout.
