To encourage more resident enterprises of Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) to apply for high-tech enterprise status, the management office of Guizhou Science City has carried out targeted publicity and door-to-door visits to firms it considers eligible.
The management office has widely publicized its "High-tech Enterprise Accreditation Management Measures", "High-tech Enterprise Application Service Manual", "Contact List of High-tech Enterprise Application Service Agencies in Guiyang High-tech Zone", and other policies and guidelines.
It aims to raise awareness of the eligibility criteria, application process, and various preferential policies such as subsidies, tax exemptions, project subsidies, and support after the successful application for high-tech accreditation.
Meanwhile, through in-depth visits, the office has gained a deeper understanding of the production processes and operations of the enterprises residing in Guizhou Science City's innovative park. They have provided detailed explanations of the application process for companies that meet the criteria, and provided feedback to the industry supervisory authorities as required.
For companies that do not yet meet the requirements, the officials emphasized the preferential policies high-tech enterprises can enjoy and encouraged them to make efforts to cultivate and develop their businesses so they can attain high-tech enterprise status.
To ensure that eligible companies apply, the office has also established a work ledger introducing more details about the required standards and processes involved.
This will also register their information such as the type of industry they belong to, whether the enterprise has applied for high-tech status in 2023, and the potential problems discovered during the visits by officials.
This will promote projects and list-based management of the work to cultivate more high-tech enterprises. As of now, 27 companies in Guiyang HIDZ have been registered in the ledger, including 16 high-tech enterprises and seven intended enterprises.
