The emergency management bureau of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) visited Maojing town of Luodian county recently with the Guizhou Big Data Maker Park Management Office to carry out collaborative activities to support rural vitalization.
The working group from the Guiyang HIDZ conducted exchanges with Maojing town on medical and health-related issues and identified existing problems. The group also visited the healthcare centers in six villages, including Tingxi, Gaotian, Bamao, Dongshan, Lanxi and Fengjing, to receive updates on the progress of telemedicine services and the setting up of a grassroots healthcare team.

They listened to the basic medical needs of the local people, laying the foundation for the establishment of an "internet telemedicine platform".
In addition, Guiyang HIDZ, together with resident caring enterprises in the zone, donated 18 commonly used medicines worth 8,355 yuan ($1,191.87) to the administrative healthcare centers in 14 villages of Maojing town. This will help to enhance and develop its grassroots healthcare capabilities, meeting the medication needs of the residents.
