Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co, an enterprise operating in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guizhou province, has become the only company to master ring forging in China.
Established in September 2006, the enterprise specializes in the research, production, and sale of non-deformable metal ring forging materials for aviation.
The multiple models of ring forging products developed by the enterprise have found extensive applications in domestic and international domains, including aviation, aerospace, naval ships, and new energy.
Some notable items in their portfolio are engine ring forgings for large domestic aircraft C919 engines and ring forgings for the new-generation engines of mainstream narrow and wide-body aircraft made by globally recognized aviation engine manufacturers such as GE from the US, Safran from France, and Honeywell from the US.
For the past 17 years, the enterprise has adhered to the principle of "innovative development, surpassing continuously". It has collaborated extensively with renowned universities dedicated to the research of aviation engine materials and prominent international engine companies like GE.
It has also set up innovative platforms like an aerospace materials laboratory.

The enterprise has achieved high-quality development by nurturing a rich talent pool comprising holders of master's and doctoral degrees throughout the entire chain.
To date, the enterprise has overseen the formulation of three national standards, pioneered one industry standard, and participated in the drafting of seven national standards.
As the proud owner of 67 invention patents, the enterprise has graced the China Patent Excellence Awards bestowed by the China National Intellectual Property Administration five times, underscoring its significant contributions in the field.
Additionally, adhering to the development philosophy of "Integrity, Harmony, Innovation, and Excellence," the enterprise was successfully listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board in July 2021, becoming the first company in Guizhou province to break into this market.
By the first half of 2023, it reported total revenues of 1.18 billion yuan ($161.64 million), a year-on-year increase of 89.73 percent. This marked a period of consistent and stable high-speed growth for the enterprise, leading to its successful expansion.
