The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang city held a seminar on Feb 29, bringing together leaders from four national-level science and technology enterprise incubators within its jurisdiction.
Outside of these leaders, officials from industrial incubation parks were also invited to the seminar to discuss the construction of benchmark incubators.
Centered around the construction, standards, key focuses, and incubation mechanisms of benchmark incubators, the responsible persons from each incubation platform engaged in enthusiastic discussions, offering relevant suggestions and opinions based on their own construction situations.
The zone's entrepreneurship service center took note of and logged these on-site discussion opinions, expressing its commitment to continuously improve incubator construction from the perspectives of "platforms, venues, projects, finance, and environment".
To promote high-quality development in regional entrepreneurship incubation, the Guiyang HIDZ has issued a special document, requiring a focus on three types of incubation platforms: government-led, enterprise-based, and academic research institution-based. These platforms will integrate themselves into the electronic information manufacturing industry, advanced equipment manufacturing industry, new energy vehicle industry, and software information technology service industry.
It is anticipated that by 2025, the Guiyang HIDZ will have established 10 benchmark incubators, incubated 100 exemplary enterprises, and accumulated 1,000 incubating entrepreneurial achievements.
