The Guizhou Provincial Government announced the winners of the 2023 Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Awards on July 2. Thirteen enterprises from Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) were recognized, contributing to 17 award-winning projects.
Among the distinguished winners, the projects titled "Key Technologies and Applications for Safety Diagnosis and Prevention of Roller Compacted Concrete Dams" by PowerChina Guiyang Engineering Corporation Limited and "Key Technologies and Applications for Big Data Circulation Security Protection" by Guiyang Long Master Information Technology Co received the first prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award category, accounting for 25 percent of the first prizes awarded.
Additionally, seven projects from Guiyang HIDZ received the second prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award category, representing 31.8 percent of the total second prizes.
Another seven projects were awarded the third prize in the same category, making up 12.5 percent of the total third prizes. Furthermore, one project was honored with the third prize in the Natural Science Award category, constituting 5.3 percent of the total third prizes.
