Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) held a themed event to mark the 19th World Accreditation Day, bringing together certification bodies and local enterprises to strengthen quality management and enhance business competitiveness.
The event highlighted the role of accreditation and certification in building trust, supporting innovation, and advancing high-quality economic growth.
During the event, the Guiyang HIDZ branch of the Guiyang market regulation authority released the Analysis Report on Accreditation and Certification Development in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The report reviews the current status of certification services in the zone, analyzes development trends, and provides data-driven insights to support policymaking and business decision-making.
Experts also delivered training sessions on quality management systems and testing and inspection technologies, sharing practical approaches to improving management efficiency and strengthening innovation capabilities.
Representatives from five certification organizations held face-to-face discussions with about 30 local enterprises to discuss issues such as technical standards, resource matching, and service support. These exchanges helped connect businesses with certification resources and promoted deeper integration of technology, standards, and professional services.
